Hi! Irit here with another layout using the lovely July kits. I’m continuing documenting my summer vacation, and this time I made a layout about the way to our vacation spot. I used several photos and printed them on one 4*6 print since they weren’t exactly National Geographic material… Here’s my finished layout-
I decided to go with a yellow-green-turquoise color scheme. I started with the stencil and ink from the color kit to give my background some interest. The rest came together rather quickly. Having a color scheme that is not that colorful helps with narrowing down choice for embellishments. In this case I used some chipboard pieces from the Crate Paper Poolside sheet that came in the main kit, as well as some enamel dots and stars.
For my journaling I used a PL card from the PL kit. Final touches were some Simple Stories Summertime washi tape pieces from the embellishment kit, there are tons of patterns in that little package!
Here’s the video showing my entire process-
Thanks for visiting! I’ll be back next Thursday with another vacation scrapbooking installment, this time using a large photo with large embellishments. Have a lovely day!
