Hi! Today I have a new layout I created with the June kits. It’s quite different than my usual style, and I really love how it turned out. I wanted something a little special for this layout, since it’s about my 7th wedding anniversary. I decided to use Kim Watson’s lovely free cut file and enlarge it to fit nicely in a 12*12. I backed the flowers and the leaves with patterned papers from the main kit. Even though there’s a lot of color in the June kits, there are also a few lighter softer papers, and so I went with a soft color scheme.
I also used my pre-made cluster with that adorable camera, that worked really well with my soft color scheme. I used the lovely aqua cardstock from the cardstock kit for my cuts and to mat my layout on. The embellishment clusters are Crate Paper Poolside from the main kit, the glittery stars and wood veneers are from the embellishment kit.
For some added details I lined the die cuts with a white gelly roll pen.
The navy Thickers are from the main kit, and the gold ones are from an older Hip Kit.
Here’s the video showing how I created this layout-
Thanks for visiting and have a lovely day!
