Hi everyone! Terhi here with my first June Hip Kit layout. I had so much fun unpacking the Kits and got huge inspiration of the color scheme we had, especially the washi tape we have in our June Main Kit made me sigh. I took it, and a picture of me teaching a workshop, then one of the project life cards our lovely Kim Watson designed to our June Project Life Kit, and gave my creativity to flow. It all came together easily and I still have some blue mists in my hands.
Talking about that washi tape, I didn’t want to use it in the normal way, taping it against a paper, I wanted to make it more visible and so I remembered a flower tutorial I once saw in Pinterest. It was super easy! Just folding and more folding, a drop of glue and that’s it. I even made a video tutorial for you, just that you know it’s just as simple as I say. You can use the same method with any thin paper, too!
As I first made the washi tape flower, it was the main thing on the layout and I designed and created the layout around it. I chose papers from the June Main Kit matching to the washi tape and as main color was deep clue, I decided to do a blue background. It’s messy and includes a lot of wet medias, but it was so much fun!
