Hello there! It’s Terhi here with two layouts using May Hip Kits. I know I said last time that those would have been the last ones with May Kits, but life happens and here I am with another two. That’s actually one of the reasons why I adore Hip Kit Club Kits: Even when I’ve created over ten layouts and bunch of cards with one single kit, I still have so much of products left that I can create a few more. Hip Kits are huge, at least I think so.
The first layout today was inspired by the little lady in the picture. Even tough she’s dressing purple and turquoise, I wanted the layout look pink and yellow. And as the photo is shaped weirdly, I decided to use a lot of straight lines to calm the layout down, and added one circle shaped embellishment to catch your attention. That’s what I love the most, using tricks to swindle your eye 😉
For the background I chose to use yellow Paint Dabber from May Color Kit, and pink Paint Dabber from February Color Kit. It’s actually another thing I appreciate with Color Kits, you can collect a little storage of the products each month and use them together to create unique layouts and mixed media creations.

Here’s the second layout for today. Inspired by my silly, wonderful, goofy, handsome, funny and wonderful husband.
I wanted to create a masculine but light and playful layout and green Paint Dabber from May Color Kit was perfect way to start it. I simply pressed it against the white cardstock to create random circles here and there, the result reminds me of a stencil work but it’s way more loose. All papers are from May Kits, too, I used all grays and whites. And to highlight the picture, I grabbed the Chickaniddy Alphas from the May Project Life Kit and added some randomly to the background. That was fun! It gave a lot of interest, but dimension too!
And as I started with green, I wanted to continue with the same line – the ampersand is painted with green Paint Dabber too.
