Hey there, Hip Kit fans! Missy back with you today. I’m so excited to share my first layout using the 2015 June Kits! Every single piece included in the kits is just gorgeous…seriously! I honestly didn’t know where to begin…so I grabbed the two ink pads and the stamp from the June Color Kit and started playing. I stamped, I smooshed with plastic packaging, I used my finger…a little bit of all of it. I used some bright Summer photos, and there are so many fun and bright colors in the papers and embellishments. I knew right away I wanted to use the navy blue, red, yellow and orange together, so I pulled several papers and pieces that contained them. I even used two of the Project Life cards on this page.
Here is one of the Project Life cards. I fussy cut this sun out and used it as an embellishment at the top. The yellow Avery Elle ink is so pretty…very soft and dreamy 🙂 I layered in some patterned papers and one of the Crate Paper frames here.
Here you can see the pretty Shimelle sunburst stamp really well. There are also lots of fun tags and frames in the kits, and they make awesome layering pieces!
I added a bit of orange machine stitching around the page. Be sure to check out the awesome Crate Paper sticker sheet, too…tons of amazing colors, shapes and patterns.
Here’s one last close up of the title area. I combined one of the Crate Paper stickers with one of the fun Poolside Thicker words. I layered in some tangled thread and added one of the cute Evalicious wood veneer, which I colored with the Cracked Pistachio from the March Color Kit. These pictures were taken in June, and there is a die cut that was perfect for documenting the date.
