Hey there, Hip Kit friends 🙂  Missy here again to share another layout using the 2015 May Hip Kits.  I was inspired by some of Irit’s work lately and by the bright colors in my daughter’s swim suit.  I pulled out all the inks and sprays from all the Color Kits from February through May to create my background.  I did add clear gesso to the bulk of the background before any inking began.  I used the plastic packaging technique mostly.  I also used a few of the American Crafts stencils from the May Color Kit.  I used some of the Prima Watercolor Pencils from the April Color Kit as well.

I added in a lot of stamping (from the Chickaniddy set from the May Project Life Kit) and stitching.  I used the two paint dabbers from the May Color Kit to give this Evalicious wood veneer some beautiful color.

Here’s the top of the page.  That fun tag is from the Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss line.  I used the black Prima Watercolor Pencil to trace some of the stencils.  I like that it adds some pops of black around the page, and it looks sharp on top of all that gorgeous color.

This cute yellow card is from the May Project Life Kit.  I used it as a base for my title, which contains a lot of “Happy”…haha 😀  Since Reese was playing with the hose, I decided to go with Happy Hose Time as my title…not the most creative, but it fits.  I combined the blue Pebbles alphas with the Chickaniddy Enamel Words as well.

Here’s one more look at the mixed media background.  I used the yellow dabber through one of the stencils here…I love how it turned out.  And I love the beautiful orange shade I got when the pink and yellow Dylusions mixed.
