Layout and a bunch of cards | Terhi

Hello Hip Kit Club fans! It’s Terhi here with you and I have a lot of projects to inspire you today!

First, I made a layout with April Kits. I especially focused on April Color Kit, as I loved the stamps in the kit from Elle’s Studio. I created a stamped background and colored some stamped patterns with watercolor pencils we had in the same Color Kit. There is a process video below, so that you can watch the creation process and be inspired!hipkitapril (1)-1

After making the layout, I decided to do a card from all the left over papers I had laying on my worktable. But as usual, one thing leads to another I suddenly I find myself doing a real big bunch of cards. Ten, to be exact. I used 6×6 pad Rise&Shine paper pad from April Project Life Kit, and Crate Paper Chipboard Phrases as a sentiments from April Main Kit.

The recipe was easy: Take white card template or cut your own from white cardstock. Adhere a patterned paper onto it, just a little smaller than the white one. Draw some circles with a pencil to create interesting details, then adhere a slice of other patterned paper onto the first one. Blend some gel medium or glue to the center of the card and attach the sentiment, then flick some glitter on. Shake the card well to get off the loose glitter and to make sure your card receiver will not be covered with it. Finish the card with flicking matching mist on it. Easy and fast!
