Good morning! I am so excited to say that I received my May Kits this past weekend and that today I am able to share my first projects that I made using them!
When the new kits were revealed last month, I knew instantly that I wanted to start my youngest daughter’s new album with them and that is exactly what I did.
This is what her album opens up with-a 6×8 pocket page layered over a traditional style layout. The addition of the Project Life Kit to the monthly line up of kits sure makes it super easy to co-ordinate my pocket pages with my regular layouts. Here is a closer look at each individual page:
Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
How about this awesome “Happy Birthday” Evalicious wood veneer from the May Main Kit? I thought I was pretty lucky to have it on hand for these pages!
When layering a smaller pocket page on top of a bigger sized layout, I always try to include some coordinating elements. In this instance, I stayed consistent with color as well as used the same small gold hearts from the Citrus Bliss chipboard shapes throughout both pages.
Aren’t the colors in May’s Kits just fantastic? I cannot make up my mind which is my favorite!
Wishing you a great day!
