Hi all! Alex here with another layout featuring Hip Kit Club’s lovely March kits. I am sure that pretty much every kid would agree with my own little ones: The best part with baking must be the part when they get to lick the bowl. Totally worth a layout! 🙂
I got really inspired by the diamonds in the “Stitching” paper from the Craft Market collection by Crate Paper. They were the starting point of my creative process this time. I cut them out, spread them over a piece of white cardstock (included in the cardtock kit), and started to try out different patterns for my background. Once I held them against the golden, glittery stripes, I knew I had the winner. The combination felt perfect!
Another item from the kits that I fell in love with, is this polka dot photo overlay by My Mind’s Eye (included in the embellishment kit). I didn’t want the dots to cover too much of my photo, so I chose a smaller format of the photo and printed it on a 6×4 paper leaving a lot of white frame around it.
When I have a lot of empty space in my pictures (like in this case), I just can’t resist placing a title on them…
Finally, I wrote my journaling on the My Mind’s Eye On Trend labels included in the project life kit.
I like how this layout came together. Those diamonds are made to fuzzy cut! Hope that you feel inspired to play with them!
Have a lovely weekend!
