Hey there, friends! Happy Tuesday 🙂 It’s Missy here with you today. I’m sharing my second layout featuring the 2015 March Hip Kits, and I just love everything about them! I decided to do a multi-photo layout for today.
They’re funny pictures…our silly cat kept creeping into the frame as I was trying to take pictures of my girls. You can see his little head in the big photo and his tail in a few others. It was quite funny! I brought out the Color Kit for this one and used some plastic packaging to get the messy yellow Dylusions onto the background. I also mixed the Distress Paint with the teal Dylusions from the February Color Kit to get the exact blue tone I wanted.
Here’s a close up of the layers and some of the fun embellishments. The Elle’s Studio wood veneers are just adorable this month, and the exclusive die cuts match everything so perfectly. I added in some tangled thread here as well.
I added some machine stitching and a chipboard arrow…I love that it’s gold and shiny! The most difficult part of creating this layout was my journaling. Sometimes it’s hard to write over dried gesso. But I made it work and it turned out okay.
One more close up of my title. I love these kraft Thickers! These cute cork hearts are fun, too, and can be use just about anywhere.
