Wendy here today and I am so glad to join you this morning!
Last week I shared that I like to cut up my scraps into 3×4 and 4×6 pieces to use on Project Life, but I also use these pieces to create the layers I like to use in my layouts. As I was cutting up my scraps from the February Main and Embellishment Kit, I found this arrangement and decided it would make a great layout (again multi-tasking)!

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
I also had this crepe paper trim I had just made for a Guest spot at Maggie Holmes’ blog just laying there and it added just the right feel to my layout of wispy far away thoughts.

Once I had finished with the design I found a picture that worked with the colors I had used and I began to embellish.

A sprinkling of dots and circle elements to help your eyes float downwards.

A grouping of rectangle pieces, I used a rub-on heart to replace the heart on the card.

A few more sprinkles and a little dash of color to carry your eyes upward also.
I also made a quick card with some of my leftover pieces.
So my kit is finished and ready to be mixed with the next kit leftovers, and there is a page that I love that used what I had lying around! See you next week with some more inspiration!
