Hi! Irit here with a new layout using the happy February kits! I started this layout with some favorite song lyrics, and printed them right on patterned paper. I love that aqua striped Amy Tan paper from the main kit. Since I don’t have a wide format printed, I cut it down to A4 size (slightly bigger than 8.5*11 inches) so it would fit in my printer.
I used Photoshop Elements and layered the text a few times in different shades of grey (not 50). I paired the aqua paper with the happy MME polka dot paper, a combo I never would have come up with if it weren’t for the kit. I used some of those gorgeous hot pink Thickers from the embellishment kit for my title.
Since the patterned papers and the lyrics are quite strong elements on their own I didn’t add a lot embellishments, just some die cuts, rub ons and wood veneers (from the kit and my stash). Final touches- ink splatters! The Dyslusions Bubblegum pink from the color kit is just the perfect hot pink! Here’s the layout, some detail shots and, of course, the video-
