Happy Tuesday, Hip Kit fans! Missy here with you today. This my fourth layout using the 2015 February Hip Kits! I really love all the gold elements included in the Main Kit and Embellishment Kit. I also wanted to use the washi tape from the Main Kit as part of my background design. I used multiple strips of it behind my photo in place of patterned paper. I love the mix of colors and patterns! I added a bit of gesso and watercolors to my background for some added interest.
These MME rub-ons are just amazing! I decided to adhere this one to some white cardstock and then cut it out. I really wanted it to pop without getting lost in the washi tape behind it. It also gives great dimension this way.

I think this is the perfect layout to use up these beautiful shiny gold days of the week chipboard pieces. I stitched through them with some gold thread and then added some of the MME banner shaped die cuts below. I also fussy cut “Love This” from that awesome MME paper.
Here’s a close up look at the washi tape, more rub=ons, stitching, watercolor and a cute wood veneer. There are just so many fun pieces in these kits!
