Hello everyone!
I LOVE a good grid design and the Heidi Swapp September Skies-Dusk patterned paper from the February 2015 Main Kit helped me pull this multiple photo layout together in no time!
Recently, our family visited the Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas City (an indoor water park) for a weekend away and I had several great shots of the kids enjoying all the park has to offer that I wanted to include on my layout. One of the easiest ways for me to include multiple photographs on a page is to use a grid design.
I simply printed off three photos at 3×3 and cut apart the 3×3 squares of the Heidi Swapp patterned paper so I could arrange them all on a piece of white card stock in a simple grid design.
I added my title directly onto the square in the middle using some of the Heidi Swapp Navy Blue Puffy Glitter Alphabet letters from the main kit and embellished the other squares using items from February kits.
The Crate Paper chipboard accents, Evalicious wood veneer shapes and stickers (available in the February 2015 Embellishment Kit), and the My Mind’s Eye Die Cuts were the perfect mix of accents that helped me add color and dimension to my page.
To finish off my page, I cut my white background card stock piece down, inked the edges with the teal mist from this month’s color kit, and layered it on top of a piece of pink polka-dotted patterned paper from the main kit.
This layout turned out better than I had imagined in my head and the items in the February 2015 kits really helped me capture the fun we had on our little weekend getaway last month!
