Me-Wow | Patricia Roebuck

I was late to the Big Bang Theory craze.  I needed a fun, happy show to start watching from a change of watching some of the popular criminal shows, and now I am hooked on it.  Sheldon gave Leonard a sticker for coming up with a theory that said Me-Wow!  I knew right then I had to do a layout of my cat with that title.

I also wanted to use a different color combo from the first three layouts I created from the February kits.  There are so many color combinations with them.  I pulled out the green/yellow green and the blue as the primary colors.  Then pulled in the colors from the die cuts from the My Mind’s eye ephemera from the February kits.  I absolutely love those Heidi Swapp electric blue glitter alphas from the February kits, and they pop so much with this color combo.

I wanted some wonky stitching on here, and it ended up being pretty straight and then I noticed it ended up as a star!  Which was perfect for my cat being ‘Me Wow.”

I tucked in triangles of pattern paper cut from the 6×6 pattern paper pad in the Embellishment kit to add more texture and pull in more of the black.  And another favorite from the kits, is the Heidi Swapp washi tape, also from the Embellishment kit.  Used that at the top and the bottom of the layout.  Added a few more ephemera pieces from My Mind’s Eye, and Chipboard from Crate Paper from the Main and Embellishment kits to finish this layout.

And if you read my journaling, it really isn’t the nicest about my cat.  It is more of an honest journaling.  He will be 20 in March and he is sick.  With pets and sickness comes stress and he is a big stress right now, but he is still my boy.
