Hi everyone! Alex here today bringing you some more February kits inspiration.
There is absolutely nothing wintry about February kits, yet I used it to scrap my first snow-selfie of the year. And guess what! It worked! 🙂
I chose to play with the patterns of the papers in the kit. I was inspired by the stripes in the Amy Tangerine – Stitched – Garden paper and used them as my starting point. I then cut out three equally wide stripes from the Webster’s Pages – Beautiful Chic – Aged to Perfection paper and covered some of the existing stripes with them. I also added a wider piece of the We R Memory Keepers – Love Notes – Secret Crush paper between the two of them.
Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.
Behind my photo I layered papers from the 6×6 Love Notes paper pad and the “love this day” piece of the My Mind’s Eye – Jubilee Wild Berry – Inked paper. I also added a small piece from the Heidi Swapp washi tape to add a touch of green for a more balanced feeling.
One more close-up just because it’s fun.. Aren’t these lovely golden details hard to photograph?!
I hope you like this one and that you feel inspired to play with all the beautiful patterns that come with the February kits.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
