Hey there, Hip Kit fans! Missy here with my third layout using the 2015 February Hip Kits! My first two layouts featured the bright and bold colors in the kits, so for this one, I decided to focus on the soft pastels. If you love the look of mixed media but are hesitant to try it, you must use this gorgeous background patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers. All the watercolor is done for you! I added in one other strip from another We R Memory Keepers patterned paper and a strip from the kraft cardstock from the Cardstock Kit. The rest is chipboard (from the Embellishment Kit) and bits and pieces from the Main Kit. Such a great way to get that mixed media look without actually doing it!
The chipboard sheet in the Embellishment Kit coordinates so perfectly with the We R Memory Keepers papers. Such soft pastel colors, and they all look great together. I added a bit of machine stitching to this little banner.

Here I used even more chipboard and layered one of the MME die cuts and enamel dots on top. Layering creates such great dimension and depth.
