Pretty Much Perfect | Nicole Nowosad

Good Morning Hip Kit fans! I am super excited to be kicking off the weekend every week with this morning blog post!

I am sharing my first project using the February Hip kit! Such a pretty kit, it was tough to choose what to start with as there are so many pretty papers in the kit.

Here is my first page:

I really loved the Adrienne Looman paper in the Main Kit and instead of using it as it was, I punched the circles with my circle punch, layering some vellum from the kit behind some of the circles. I started by adding some droplets of mist before I started adding the circles to my page.

I added some stitching detail to most of the rows to add some detail and texture. The vellum adds a nice touch too! Can’t get enough vellum on my projects these days and it was nice to see it in the Main kit and the Paper Add on. I added one of the chipboard frames to my photo from the Embellishment add on. They are so pretty and add a nice depth to your page.

You can see that I added some die cuts to my photo grouping as well as a label beneath the photo.

The row across the top of the blocked area is full of squares of paper from one of the Heidi Swapp patterned papers in the Main Kit. I added more chipboard, rub ons and enamel dots to finish it off!
