I completed my December Documented album last week so I’m excited to share my finished pages with you today! (I posted the first several days of my December album here…(https://blog.hipkitclub.net/…/with-our-guest-designer…/.) I used items from Hip Kit Club’s December Documented kit and the December kit throughout my entire album.
The beginning of the month is always fairly normal for us around our household so I did more of a PL approach with those days.
The month’s holiday activities get more involved during the middle of December, especially right before the kids get out of school for winter break, so for those days I got a bit more festive.
I printed most of my photos out at 4×3 and 4×4 and tried to journal about each day. I also created a Christmas card holder using one of the 8.5×11 page protectors that came in the December Documented kit. I simply used my sewing mating to stitch a piece of the gold glittery vellum on the left side of the page protector and embellished it with a few of the other items from the kit. I slipped all of my holiday cards I received this year (and a few pieces of artwork my kids made at school) inside and added it to the back of my album.
I like to keep my December Documented albums fairly simple and easy to complete. The Hip Kit Club’s kits made it so easy for me to keep up with this project because everything coordinated so well. Have you completed your DD yet? I’d love to see so be sure to post your completed album in the member forum!
Thanks for stopping by today!
