Hi! It’s Monday, which means that it’s my day of sharing some fun new layouts I created using the November kits.
Today I’ll be sharing two layouts, that are, as I would call it- product focused. Which just means that my design is based and focused on one of the products in the kit.
I like to do this after I’ve made a few pages with a kit, and got the feel of the kit.
My first layout is all about those big wood veneer numbers. I used them on two other layouts, and just wanted to play with the rest, and really make a statement.
Enter- I-zinks.
These metallic inks are really fun, and I am all about color.
I really wanted to play with different shades, so I mixed the Topaz and Tulip. I wanted a gradual look of all the different shades, going from pure pink to pure turquoise. I painted the ‘0’ with Tulip and the ‘9’ with Topaz. To make all the color mixing easier, I started with equal amounts of pink and turquoise, and painted the ‘6’, which was exactly in the middle.
Then I added gradually turquoise for the shades of the ‘7’ and ‘8’ and then pink for the ‘1’ and ‘4’. You can see exactly how I did it in the video.
The layout is titled -‘Always counting’ and the journaling just talks about how my mom and daughter are always counting the days till they meet again…

My second page for today is really fast and simple, and uses a lot of the lovely metallic embellishments that came with the kit and the embellishment add on.
