Hey Hipster’s! Mandy Koeppen here with you today to share my latest creations using our fabulous August Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I absolutely love this kit, as I’m sure y’all do too!   This kit has me digging deep into the mountain of photos we have pre-digital and the crazy overload of digital photos that we have.  I seem to be pulled to those pre-digital photos with this kit. As you can see on this layout I scrapped one of those famous hospital newborn photos. Yes we bought the package with our first baby (and our second, oh poor Mavl  We learned with his.  I cried for months after we received his.)   I love and have to admit I’m a tad jealous of all the fabulous baby/hospital pics I see on Pinterest and the web now.  WOW!   RAMBLING jeesh back to scrapbooking. lol   This kit is a great way to document everything from pregnancy, to birth, to boys and mud seriously! I love how this week I documented Teagan’s birth, but I have a layout of Mav in progress sitting on my table using this same kit.

One of my favorite things in our August Hip Kit has to be the Notes & Things Ephemera pack.  OMG!!! It’s packed full of awesome little tidbits and I love going through each little piece and deciding which to use. On this layout I used quite few of these little pieces.   I have also loved those Crate Paper 4×6 journaling cards.  They are great cut down or used just the way they are for layering – like I did on this layout. Mad love for this kit y’all!!

What can I say about my card that I haven’t said about previous ones? hmm I inked on it. To give a little added pop to this I used a black stamp pad to go around the green pattern paper edge. Added some pop dots to my simple sentiment layered piece and this card was done. Simple and quick!
