Hey Hipster’s! Mandy here with you today sharing my latest projects created with our August Hip Kits. These 2 projects were both created in 45 minutes.
Life has been crazy here at the House of K so my scrap time has been like an in & out drive thru fast! The amazing August kit has made creating fast very easy for me too because is contains some of my favorite colors and tidbits. I loved using the Crate Paper ephemera to create a layered cluster under that Instax photo of Avery and I that was taken on her school field trip.
Shimelle’s overlays are great for layering too, not just on top of your photos but underneath they create a cool effect as you can see. I stuck with a simple design and just a few colors and I’m totally happy with how it turn out.

As y’all know I’m not a card person, but I try. So here is another simple leftover Mandy card. I love the color combo and the stripes in our August Hip Kits! I cut the eraser from the Crate Paper ephemera pack in half to get the pink layer on both the bottom and top. I added twine from my stash and 3D foam adhesive to give that added pop of dimension.
