Hey Hipster’s, it’s Mandy Koeppen here with 2 new projects that I created with our July Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. My first project to share is a layout I created with photos of Mav from a long time ago. You might recognize one of the photos and that’s because I used the wallet size photo on one of my previous layouts. I do scrapbook the same photos multiple times because I usually tell different stories about the same photo.  I printed this photo multiple times because I wanted to include this particular photo of Mav with other photos taken throughout our day. I love the Crate Paper Open Road chipboard frames that are included in our July kits. I love using the frames not just for photos but to create embellishment clusters – like I did in the bottom left corner  of my page.  There are so many great layering embellishments in this month’s kit like the Crate Paper ephemera, October Afternoon Chipboard stickers and the Teresa Collins Chipboard pieces.  To move the eye around the page I added touches or red with the enamel dots, a chipboard arrow, and a circle with star. 

My second project is a simple and I mean simple card that took less than 10 minutes. 2 pattern paper scraps hand cut, 2 die cuts and some adhesive. I was inspired by the colors in the flower from the Open Road ephemera pack.  Then I grabbed a few bits around me that I thought might work…  And they did!  Simple and easy just the way I like it.
