Hey everyone! It’s Emily with you today with another project created with our July Hip Kits. I hope you all are ready to break out the India Ink and watercolors to create a bright background! I started with this black and white photo because I knew it would pop more behind a colorful background.
I then choose this triangle paper from Teresa Collins to add the bright blue and green watercolor.
Before I added the watercolor I added a little bit of gesso to give the paper more support and added a little bit of texture with a Heidi Swapp stencil from our June Color Add-On Kit. Next, I added my title using the American Crafts Thickers to spell out “FOREVER”. Finally, it was time to add the finishing touches to the layout by using washi tape, Teresa Collins enamel dots, and some October Afternoon chipboard elements.
