Hi its Kali here with you today, and I am sharing a layout & a card that I created with our June 2014 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. As I began creating my layout, I chose to use plain white cardstock for my background. To make it a little more interesting, I added some color using the Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads included in our Stamp Add-On Kit.
Next, I began layering different patterned papers underneath my photo, I thought that my photo and the other goodies looked best when I placed them towards the bottom of my page. Once the photo and papers were adhered to the background, I was able to start embellishing. Adding the perfect finishing touches to my project was really easy because our June Kits have tons of fun embellishments included in them. I think my layout is a great way to announce the arrival of summer!

I also have a fun card to share with you today. For my card, I was drawn to the EP – Capture Life products included in our June kits. The papers are playful and the Element Sticker Sheet included in our Embellishment Add-On Kit has so many great bits and pieces that worked perfectly on my card. To add a sentiment to my card I used the American Crafts Pow Glitter Thickers. They added a hint of shimmer and a nice feminine touch to my card.
