Two adorable projects created with our March

Hi All!  It is Gaelle here with you again this Tuesday.  Today I am sharing a layout and a card that I made using our March 2014 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I hope my projects inspire you to create something wonderful with your March kits.

Feathers are so trendy right now – so I decided it incorporate them on both my card and my layout.  I just fussy cut them out of the October Afternoon Girl Talk paper included in our main kit.  I also loved the American Crafts chalkboard label sticker.  It added just a bit of contrast and allowed my title to really “pop”.

The Daydream Stitched Title cards from our March Embellishment Add-On Kit are really cute just as they are, and they work perfectly on cards.  I used the “listen to your heart” title card on this project.  It came layered and stitched with the imperfect red stitching, so half of the work was already done for me.  I layered the title card onto white cardstock and a piece of aqua patterned paper from our main kit.  Then I added a few fussy cut feathers, a chipboard heart and some enamel dots from our March Color Add-On Kit.  To finish it off, I did just bit of machine stitching across the card using white thread.  I hope you will try using your title cards to make some cards of your own.
