Hey everyone, it’s Ashley Fowler sharing another layout created with our March 2014 Hip Kit Club & Add-On Kits! I absolutely loved this month’s Mood Board and I couldn’t wait to incorporate some of those colors and designs into this week’s layout. The main elements I focused on were the photo-booth strip, the gold feather, the chevron-arrow design, and the hand-made stamp. I started by creating my… own photo-booth strip using white cardstock to matte the photos. I occasionally use this method to get a white border when I’ve already printed photos that need an extra touch. Secondly, I chose patterned paper that resembled the “x” stitches, painted some cameo-cut feathers, added embellishments and lastly, my title.
