Hi All! Wendy here and bringing to you a layout on kraft card stock using the February 2014 – Main Kit/February 2014 – Cardstock – Add On Kit. I’m a lover of kraft cardstock. I wanted to use the extra phrases from the Elle’s Studio diecuts in the February 2014 – Main Kit to create a stitched hanging banner on my layout.

I also want to share up my layout, “XOXO”. I was totally inspired by the vellum in the February 2014 – Cardstock Add-On Kit to kick start my layout. Honestly, it had been awhile since I used vellum and this layout was my boost to “bring it back into my life”. Ha! I went for a ‘tone-on-tone’ feel with the transparent vellum along with crisp white cardstock. The pop of red gives interest to the white and makes the statement on ‘love’.
I used the rubons from the Hip Kit Club – February 2014 – Main Kit in combination with the roller stamp in the February 2014 – Embellishment Add-On Kit. LOVE that roller stamp!
I used my Silhouette Cameo and a ‘XOXO’ cut file that worked seamlessly with the vellum on my layout.
I used cut a banner phrase from the Elle’s Studio in the February 2014 – Main Kit and machine stitching for a twist on an accent in the corner of my layout. |
Lastly, I am sharing up a fun card created using the February 2014 – Embellishment Add-On Kit. I went for a simple phrase from the October Afternoon chipboard stickers. Then, I mounted the phrase on top of wood veneer caption bubbles to accent the caption bubbles in the chipboard shape. Fun!
