HAPPY WEDNESDAY!Today I am sharing a fantastic layout by Cindy Stevens created with our September 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. I absolutely adore this page! For those of you who looked at our September kit and saw pink and thought it was really feminine… check out Cindy’s layout – it isn’t even a little bit girly.Although you see splashes of pink and some florals in this kit – the products are really quite versatile with lots of navy blue, neutrals and some woodgrain patterns. I love how she used the Flea Market chipboard frames (from our September Embellishment Add-On Kit) to create little vignettes on her page. 😀
The Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party Thickers (also from our Embellishment Add-On Kit) are awesome too. The white really makes her title pop off the page – but the navy blue polka dots keep them from looking too stark or plain.
I know I have said this before, but… you can never have too many enamel dots in your stash! These little goodies perfect for adding shine to your projects without the sparkle that you would get from a gem.
The Fancy Pants – Collecting Moments Buttons (from our main kit) includes buttons in lots of different sizes, shapes and finishes. This one package adds tons of versatility for embellishing your projects.
The Freckled Fawn wood grain washi tape is definitely a staple for me. It coordinates with everything and is great for filling in a bare spots or for adding a little bit of contrast to your projects. This is definitely a washi tape that I reach for often. |
