Happy Monday!
Sorry I missed you all this weekend. My oldest daughter went to homecoming on Saturday and life was a pretty hectic as we had to help her get ready and take photos etc… I also wanted to make a few Halloween cards with our October Hip Kit & Add-On Kits to share with you this week.

![]() For this card, I cut several scraps of paper into strips that are different lengths and widths. The gold strips were made with few strips of the gold washi tape (from our October Embellishment Add-On Kit). I layered it on top of white cardstock, cut it into strips and notched the ends. This is a great trick because it gives the washi tape a little more weight. I layered all of the little strips onto my card with just a little bit of adhesive to hold each piece in place. Then I ran the card through my sewing machine to secure the banner and give the card a little extra texture. Then I added a little piece of foam tape behind a few of the banners to give them some dimension. The cute little skeleton & “boo” stickers were also from our Embellishment Add-On Kit and they worked perfectly on my card. To finish it off, I added splatters of Gold Lame Color Shine along with a few enamel dots from my stash.
On this card I also used a variety of scraps from our October Hip Kit. I cut the strips in different widths and lengths and I cut the ends differently. Some were cut on a diagonal and others were notched. I layered a few strips of the gold washi tape from our October Embellishment Add-On Kit beneath the paper strips to add a little touch of gold. The “eat, drink & be scary” sentiment is a sticker is also from our Embellishment Add-On Kit. I finished my card with a few enamel dots from my stash and a fabric brad from our main kit. I also added some machine stitching for some extra texture. |
