Today I am sharing a couple of fabulous projects by Bethany Crowell created with our August 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. Do you ever wonder how to use colorful bold printed paper on a layout or a card without it becoming the focus of your project? Both of Bethany’s projects are awesome examples of how to use these types of products on your layouts and cards. The Here & Now Cloud paper is really bright & bold. Bethany toned down the colors and pattern of the Cloud paper by layering the chevron printed vellum over it. This her photo takes center stage on her page.
Looking for card making supplies? Browse our monthly kits - each one includes coordinated papers, stamps, and embellishments perfect for handmade cards. Her card showcases the hot air balloon from the Find Your Wings Up & Away paper. Sometime it is difficult to use papers with large icons on them. Hand cutting these items out of the paper or using a portion of the paper is an excellent way to use these papers.
