Today I am sharing two amazing projects by Cindy Stevens created with our August 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits. This kit is so versatile… the products can be combined differently to create both feminine & masculine projects, so don’t let the splash of pink and bold patterns fool you.I love how Cindy used the chevron printed vellum to tone down the bright pink polka dot paper on her layout. This created a more subtle background so that the photos and other elements can take center stage. The wood button & slide frame from our main kit and a few of Mayberry chipboard stickers from our Embellishment Add-On Kit work together to create a fabulous embellishment cluster. I love the dimension and texture that these goodies add to her project!Cindy’s card is perfect for any occasion. I love the combination of the wood grain paper and the cork stars included in our main kit. Cindy used the Elle’s Studio Saltwater Clear Stamp Set from our August Stamp Add-On Kit along with Hero Arts Tide Pool Shadow Ink to stamp the pattern at the bottom of her card. This is was clever way to add the sentiment to her card and add a bit of color at the same time.I hope that both of Cindy’s projects have inspired you to create something wonderful with your August Hip Kit soon.
