Welcome Lilith Eeckels… our July 2013 Guest Designer…

Happy Tuesday!

Today I am so excited to welcome Lilith Eeckels, our July 2013 Hip Kit Club Guest Designer.  As many of you may remember, Lilith was on our Hip Kit Club Design Team from 2009-2011.  Over the past few years she designed for American Crafts and is currently a Garden Girl at Two Peas in a Bucket.  I am so glad that she has found time in her busy schedule to work with our June Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I will be sharing her projects through the entire month of July – so make sure to check back often so you don’t miss out.  Welcome back Lilith!!!  xo Kimberly

Hi. I’m Lilith. I was born in Leuven, Belgium on 26th January 1979. As a child I grew up in South Africa and my parents moved back to Europe when I was a teenager and settled in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg. I now live in the South of Belgium in the Ardennes. I am a mother to four marvelous but mischievous boys (Damien, Noé (9), Robin (6) and Elouan (3)) and have been married to the most wonderful man for 11 years. I’m a  foreign language teacher. I teach Dutch and English to French speaking students and I LOVE it. Besides my passion for languages and teaching, there is also music, photography and on the top of my list SCRAPBOOKING. I started just after getting married as I wanted to make a wedding album. I really got hooked when my two eldest boys were born in 2003 and I haven’t stopped since. It helps me unwind from my hectic days being a mum and teaching teenagers. Scrapbooking has made me realize that I can be creative and I love documenting my family’s life. It has made me become more confident and willing to have a go. I was overjoyed when Kimberly asked me to guest design for her. She was the very first person who took me on as designer and working with her kits gave me the opportunity to grow as a scrapbooker. Thank you Kimberly for having me as guest and thank you for your support.

Here is Lilith’s first layout that she created with our June 2013 Hip Kit & Add-On Kits.  I love that she used a bright summery kit to create her winter layout.  This is a great example of how you don’t need snow themed products to create an amazing “Snow Day” layout.  Enjoy!!!HipLayout3
