Happy March 19th! Today is my middle daughter’s 17th birthday. Happy birthday Madeleine! Boy, it seems like just yesterday when she was having tea parties, playing dress-up and playing with her dollhouse. She has grown into an amazing girl. She is a great athlete, she has a kind heart, is a loyal friend, is a loving and compassionate daughter and sister. I am so lucky and proud to be her mom. <3
I absolutely LOVE our February Hip Kit!!! The colors are vibrant and perfect for celebrating. Today I have two cheery projects to share that were created by Cindy Stevens, using our Amazing February kit. Just looking at her layout makes me happy. LOVE!!! |
Cindy says she often creates sketched with the products included in our Hip Kits in mind. This is the sketch that she used to create her “Son-Shine” layout. I challenge you to create a layout using Cindy’s Sketch as your inspiration and share your layout with us on our Facebook Page. We will choose a random winner – who will receive an awesome goodie bag. You can’t win if you don’t play. The deadline to submit you page is Sunday, March 31st, and the winner will be announced on Monday 1st at 10am PST. Get scrapping! 😀 Cindy took a piece of cardstock and layered strips of washi tape on it. The she made the circle using a circle punch. The layered washi tape gave a little bit of texture to her sun. Clever. I also love the machine stitching on the sunrays. I love the brightly colored Glitz die cuts that were included in our main Hip Kit. The “hello” diecut is a great addition to her layout. How sweet is this card?!? The butterflies were punched with an expensive punch from Walmart. She layered two butterflies together to give her card texture and dimension. I love the woodgrain butterflies. So cute! |
I hope Cindy’s cheerful projects have inspired you to pull out your February Hip Kit and create a something amazing. I have another collection of wonderful projects created with our February Hip Kit to share with you… so make sure to stop by and check them out. Have a scrappy day! xo – Kimberly – |
