I am so excited to welcome Melanie Blackburn to our Hip Kit Club Design Team! Mel has such amazing style – her projects are always full of layering, texture and lots of little details. Her work makes me want to drop everything and get scrapping. :D Mel will be working with our January 2013 Hip Kit – which is on its way to her. Hello everyone! I’m Melanie Blackburn and I’m so very excited to be designing for Hip Kit Club! A little bit about me, I’m currently a SAHM mom to 3 beautiful girls. I started crafting when my oldest was born, 8 years ago and I’m so very grateful for discovering this hobby. Along the way I’ve met some amazing people, who I now call friends, I’ve also had various opportunities which have helped me become the scrapbooker / card maker that I am today. I love to play with paper, it satisfies two needs; one of which is to preserve memories for my family, the other is to do something crafty and play with pretty papers and embellishments, a crafty girl couldn’t ask for better! I often describe my style as "eclectic flair", I love to mix patterns, embellishments, and include fun accents on my layouts. I’m so honored to have been asked to design for Kimberly!
