Happy 2013!!! I hope you all had a happy and safe New Year. The holidays flew by at lightning speed. I can’t believe that it is time to take down all of the holiday decorations and get back to normal life. Normal life resumed for the kids today – as they headed back to school. Waking up early was brutal for all of us. We will all be spending the next few days adjusting our sleep schedules. I wanted to take a quick moment to share a fun New Years card that I created with our November 2012 Hip Kit. I will have some thank you cards to share with you either tomorrow or Thursday. Our January 2013 Hip Kit Debut will be coming by the end of the week… so keep an eye out for that.
This was a super easy card. I just layered a few of the more neutral patterned papers along with one of the tags from the Sleigh Ride Tag Cuts paper. I used the glittered Thickers from our Embellishment Add-On Kit for part of the sentiment. I thought that a little bit of sparkle was perfect for a New Years card. I only needed half of the aqua Masking Tape sticker to layer over the top of my tag, so I cut it in half so I could use the other half on another project. A little bit of machine stitching and a satin ribbon from my stash were great finishing touches for my card. Thanks so much for visiting today!
