Hi Everyone!   I am so thrilled to have Deana Boston join us again as our Hip Kit Club August Guest Designer!   Deana was a valued member of our Design Team from 2009 through the spring of 2011.  Currently, she is the Retailer Program Coordinator for Nikki Sivil, and her designs have been published in a variety of scrapbooking  and papercrafting publications.  Deana is wonderfully talented – and I feel so fortunate that she is going to work with our Hip Kit again this month. 

For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing her work before, trust me, you are in for an amazing treat!   Welcome back Deana!!!

Here are a few fun facts about Deana…

•  When did you start scrapbooking? Forever ago. I’ve been taking photos & making scrapbooks since middle school. The obsession kicked into full gear though, when I attended a Creative Memories party right after Bob proposed to me… almost 14 years ago.
• Where do you draw most of your inspiration from? A photo, product or something else? My creative process usually begins with the photos or the story I want to tell. Lots of things inspire me though… blogs, magazines, scrapbooking websites, Pinterest, etc.
• Where do you scrap? My craft room. I spend a lot of time in there even when I’m not crafting. I even come up with new Zumba choreography in there. It’s a big room.

Here are is a layout that Deana has created using the products included in our July 2012 Hip Kit and Add-On Kits.  Deana has a flair for creating beautiful designs while including detailed journaling on her pages. Her stories are a purposeful element to her page just like each one of her embellishments are.  This layout has a “Project Life” style on a traditional scrapbook layout.  I love EVERYTHING about it!!!  Fabulous job Deana!!!  I can’t wait to see what else you have in store for us this month. 🙂
