June 2012 Hip Kit… 1 Sketch-2 Ways by Lisa

Hi Everyone!

It is Lisa here with you today.  I have had so much fun playing with our June Hip Kit using this sketch by Jillibean-Soup as the inspiration for one of my layouts!   Rather than creating just one page, I wanted to use the sketch TWO different ways…

For the first take, I simply dry brushed white craft paint onto a solid piece of kraft cardstock and then I used  several of the cut apart tags to create the base of my page.  Then I  embellished around the tags and added my pictures….

I also added some of the washi tape from a previous kit.  I adore how easy our Hip Kits mix and match from month to month!  It makes it a breeze to really use every little bit and piece of each amazing kit.:D

For the second take on this sketch I decided to create a Project Life layout for a week when I was healing from surgery and did not have many pictures or stories to share….  I really love the way it turned out!

Our Hip Kits are so full of pretty little things that are perfect for using on your “Project Life” layouts.  I love using these kits to create for these pages because they come together so quickly and easily.  With all of the fun products that are included in each kit,  I am able to add lots layering and embellishing to each these layouts.
