The inspiration for my card was the “You Make the World Go Round” border from the “This & That” border paper.  I also knew that I wanted to used one of the globes from the Studio Calico Destination paper.  (I punched it out with a circle punch). 

With all of the blue and green, I needed some contrast and a way to make my sentiment stand out. The red tag from the Crate Paper Tag Cuts paper and the polaroid from the Studio Calico Numerical paper worked perfectly.  I cut the center of the polaroid which created a frame so that some of the color and details below would show through.  I used the Amy Tangerine Thickers and the mini alphabet from Jillibean-Soup to create my sentiment along with the portion of the border  that I needed.  I outlined the alphabet to make them stand out a bit more and I added pop dots behind the border to give some extra interest and dimension.  I finished it off by adding some machine stitching  and a couple of buttons.

I think that my card design could easily be used on a layout as a cluster of embellishments.  I hope by showing you some fun ways to use the products included in your June Hip Kit  that you are inspired to create something wonderful of your own.
