May 2012 Hip Kit… 2 Great Projects Created

Hi Everyone!

It is Kristin here today.  I have a bright cheery layout to share with you that I made using our fun May Hip Kit.  As soon as I saw the banner from the Dear Lizzie stickers I knew it was perfect for my Mother’s Day Tea pictures. 

I backed most of the stickers with either white cardstock or the black paper from Crate Paper. I added some machine stitching and hand some hand cut flowers from the Basic Grey PB&J patterned paper. I also went into my stash and found some black pearls to put in the center of the flowers – which game them a little pop.

I really loved the little Dear Lizzie camera sticker and I thought is was the perfect embellishment for a card.  To give the camera a little extra contrast I backed the camera and the title with the navy cardstock. I thought my sentiment worked perfectly with the camera and is great for a belated birthday card.
