Hi Friends!

It is Kimberly here today!   I want to share this fabulous layout that our talented design team member, Cindy Stevens created with our April 2012 Hip Kit.  Many of us tend to scrap our photos of kids because there are too few photos of ourselves – as we are always the one behind the lense.  The photos on this layout are from a crop that Cindy attended with a bunch of her friends – which is a true reminder that we also have lives that are worth documenting.  :)  I for one, am going to take her photo and layout as inspiration to do a layout about myself every now and again.  I think my kids and family will love knowing little things about me.

There are so many things that I love about Cindy’s layout.  I love the way she clustered her embellishments right in the center of her page.  I love the way she created her title around the photo and by combining two different mini alphabets on the left side of her page.  I have to say that one of my favorite staple products are the Lilybee Mini Alphabet Stickers that we included in our April Embellishment Add-On Kit.  They are so versatile.  You get 8 different colors on 1 sheet.  The font is great and they are perfect for sentiments on a card, captions or long titles on your layouts.  The are also look awesome when you use them as your subtitle while using a bigger and bolder alphabet for your main title.  Keep an eye out – as we will be sure to include them again soon in a future Hip Kit!
