Hello everyone,
Blessed is how I feel to be sharing with you a little about me on the Hip Kit Club website. I feel like the luckiest scrapbooker to be apart of this amazing team and designing with the beautiful Hip Kit Club kits.
I am an Aussie girl who lives in the beautiful mid north coast of Australia in the state of NSW. I am Mum to two and super cool step Mum to one who feature in 99% of my scrapbooking projects.
My scrapbooking journey began 20yrs ago. I still have my first layout where I cut stars and circles out of family members faces. I started because I am passionate about recording and delighting in memories. I knew that my experiences and the experiences of those around me shaped my identity and the person I am today and I wanted a record of that to reflect on and delight in.
People sometimes ask me about my scrapbooking style. This is always an interesting question to me. I think I would describe my style as traditional but then my creative peers often tell me that they can pick a ‘Lauren layout’ a mile off, and therefore I think that there must be something a little unique about the way I put my layouts together. So I guess I would say my style would be ‘traditional with a splash of Lauren.
