Let Use Dies ON a Layout – Anya Lunchenko

Hello scrapbooking friends! Winter is finally here with lots of snow and this weather always inspires me to create more Christmas and winter projects. Today, I am happy to share a new holiday layout I created this week using the December Hip Kit and some dies!

Want to create layouts like this? Our monthly kits include coordinated papers, embellishments, and supplies to bring your scrapbook pages to life.

For this layout I used two different die sets. First one is a pocket die. I used it to cut a pocket from a pink patterned paper, which I then adhered to the left side of the page in the center. The pocket can be used to store more photos or some special ephemera, but I added tags with journaling to it.

This pocket also created a perfect spot for the title. I used one of the foam stickers for the title and decorated the whole left side of the layout with the fussy cut circle elements from two different patterned papers in the December Kit. Whenever you can cut elements from patterned paper, it always is one of the best ways to stretch your supplies.

Second die I used here was the border die. I die cut an intricate border from white cardstock, which I added to the right side of the photos. I loved that border so much, that I created another layout same day just to use that border in a different way.

To finish this layout, I used silver rub-ons and beautiful epoxy stickers. The whole page was matted onto the grey patterned paper and is ready to be added to our library of memories. Thank you for visiting the Hip Kit Club blog! I hope you were inspired by todays’ project and will be back soon for more inspiration!
