Hello memory keeping friends! I am really enjoying these winter kits! Today I am excited to share with you another mini album I created, this time using awesome November Hip Kit! To make this album more winter theme then Christmas, I chose a bright blue patterned paper for the front cover and a teal color for the back. Also, the cover was decorated with a bunch of chipboard and foam stickers from frames to buttons!

For the pages inside of this album I used a variety of papers from the main kit and cardstock kit. The colors of these papers made me so happy to play with them!
The very first page spread is also decorated with plenty of embellishments, including additional title for the book. Here I used puffy letter stickers to spell “winter fun”. The rest of the album I like to keep a little more simple and add more embellishments as I fill my pages with photos and stories.
Here are a couple of decorated page spread samples. First, I like to add white photo frames to my pages and then add embellishment so that they don’t cover the frames too much. I love adding the phrase strips to the photo frames, it helps adding a little bit of story without any journaling.
I hope this project inspired you to create a mini album for your winter memories! Winter is still here for another two months and this may be the best time to make a mini book to record those special memories. It snowed here today and I was so happy to take those first few snow photos!
