Main Kit Only Layout

Hi crafty friends, Katarina back with you again! Today I have a brand new layout to share with you that I created using the February 2021 Main Kit only with a little help from the Cardstock Kit. The Main Kit is so full of beautiful products that even though this is my fifth layout using the February Kits I had plenty of product to choose from.

 

 

 

I wanted to use the “Yours Forever” exclusive patterned paper from the Heartfelt collection and I loved both sides of it so much, that I decided to use it in a way that both sides will be visible. I drew a bunch of different size circles from the ledger side of the paper, next I drew lines dividing the circles into eights (it was more for the biggest circle). Using a metal ruler and craft knife I cut along these lines. Then I curled these pieces out of the circle. This added a lot of dimension and interest to my layout and exposed the back side of the paper.

 

 

 

I backed my paper with the Turquoise Mist cardstock raising the circle edges with foam squares, as I knew I wanted to tuck things under them. I love the color contrast so much! I used three photos that I matted with a white cardstock in a photo strip style and placed them over three of my cut outs, raising them with a 3D foam.

 

 

I added my title to the biggest circle using the Simple Stories Hello Today Chipboard Stickers. I embellished the rest of the cut out with the Pinkfresh Studio Some Days floral ephemera. I love how pretty it looks on the turquoise background.

 

 

Next I used the same combination of floral ephemera and chipboard stickers to embellish the rest of the open spaces. I added some fussy cut flowers too.

 

 

 

As a finishing touch I added the Pinkfresh Studio enamel dots to the centers of some of the flowers.

 

 

I love how my layout turned out! It was so easy to create and only using the Main Kit. Hope I inspired you today, thanks for stopping in, friends!
