Hello Hip Kit friends, Anke here with you. Today I’m sharing the layout I made for this week’s color challenge: monochromatic plus 1 accent color.
I went through the papers which are included in the July Main Kit and picked out the Dear Lizzy – Here and Now – High Five paper with leaves in green and blue and pink accents. I decided to use this as my starting point. First I fussy cut lots of leaves. Then I took a pencil , drew a large S on my cardstock and arranged the fussy cut leaves along the pencil line.

I added my photo which I framed with one of the Maggie Holmes – Sweet Story – Puffy Frames , included in the July Pocket Life Kit.
Then I chose some of the Hip Kit Club Exclusive – Bring on the Sunshine – Ephemera (included in the July Main Kit) , some stickers and chipboard elements in green, blue and pink to embellish the “S”. I placed them between the leaves and I also added an embellishment cluster to my photo. I used foam pads to adhere the embellishments, to create more dimension.
For my title I used the Maggie Holmes – Sweet Story – Sorbet Alpha Thickers which are included in the July Pocket Life Kit. Then I added some black color splatters and pink enamel dots which you can find in the July Main Kit. Finally I backed the layout with a piece of the Dear Lizzy Here and Now High Five Paper.
