Hello everyone! Christina here, sharing a new layout inspiration with you, featuring the Hip Kit Club May 2020 Main, Embellishment & Cardstock Kits, plus one of the June 2020 subscriber cut files.

First of all, here’s the page I created:

 

 

I combined a big black and white picture (which shows the view from our favorite ice cream parlor over Stuttgart/ Germany) with the “fresh air” cut file that I cut from the dark blue “Admiral” cardstock. To match my black and white photo, I backed the cut file up with various black and white papers from the Main Kit, and added fussy cut flowers from the black and white Pink Paislee floral paper.

 

 

 

 

 

To add some pops of color to my layout, I fussy cut some flowers from the other Pink Paislee floral paper, and also layered some Vicki Boutin Ephemera shapes from the Main Kit.

 

 

 

And since I was challenged for today’s layout to use a border punch, but couldn’t find it (because I haven’t used it in ages), I cheated a little bit and used a cardstock strip that was left over from cutting the cut file, punched some little stars with my star punch, and added that strip to the bottom of my page.
