Hello Ladies! Happy Thursday, and I am here with a colorful and fun layout that I have created with the March Hip Kits using the Main Kit. I am just in love with the gorgeous papers and embellishments in this kit, and I mixed and matched them on this layout. 

 

 

My assignment was to create texture and dimension. This is an easy job for me, as I LOVE texture and dimension! My layouts hardly fit in page protectors haha, but I just love dimension.

 

 

My background is a simple white cardstock.  I choose patterns for the top layers. These are stripes of patterned papers. I decided to use mainly blue, yellow, and pink colors. The yellow colors pops and creates a yellow triangle on the layout. It makes the layout  bright and fresh.

I glued the stripes down a bit and went through with my sewing machine and curled up some edges. This adds texture.

 

 

I made some layers under my photo to stand out. The colorful stickers from the Bloom Street Collection stay flat, with pops of red colors. The ephemera is raised with foam adhesive. I play with color, dimension and layering.

To complete my layout I made some stitching, really simple with white thread. Though it is so easy to do and barely visible, it adds a lot, finishes the layout with a lovely touch.
