Hello Hip Kit fans! It is time for a new “product focus”. Today three designers; Corrie, Felicity & Jana, will be showing how they used the Layered Stitched Tags by Pinkfresh Studio in the October 2017 Embellishment Kit. Let’s get started!
As soon as I saw these adorable tags I KNEW I wanted to use them on a scrapbook layout! And I knew they needed to be basically the main embellishment on my page. They are just so cute and I love the stitching and colors.
I started by laying out how I wanted the tags. I ended up cutting the green one with the butterfly stitched on it down to the same size as the others to match. Then I painted black paint where my photo would go to make it stand out.
Once the tags and photo were down, I further embellished them with butterflies from the Pinkfresh Ephemera and Chipboard accents from the October 2017 Main Kit.
Lastly, I added the title which is a mix of the gold Thickers and the Gold Foil Dipped Wood Veneer Alphabet from Pinkfresh Studio that is in the October 2017 Project Life kit.
These layered stitched tags are so much fun, definitely use them up!
Who’s seen the Hip Kit October kits? Its so beautiful, with lovely earthy tones, blues, pinks and greens. The colours are so relaxing and that’s exactly how I felt when I used this kit 🙂
Those pink fresh tags, got me the first time I opened my kit. So glad I got to a feature layout with them 🙂 I had this idea of putting string down the page and then having my tags and embellishments hang. I think it looks nice an artistic!! tee hee.
I also loved the colour kit too, with all the Shimmerz peeking out, adds more depth to the page. Those tags and embellishments, truly speak for themselves.
