Wendy with you this Friday morning! Today I am sharing a layout with my favorite paper, the French Doors from We R Memory Keepers found in the Main Kit.
After adding a few pieces to my picture, my picture still seemed overwhelmed by the busy paper, so I chose the Stone cardstock from the Cardstock add-on to mat my paper on. That helped so I began adding a few embellishments from the My Mind’s Eye ephemera packet. After fussy cutting my title from the paper my layout was almost done… except it still seemed to be missing something. I added in some black stitching to outline pieces of my layout and then I couldn’t resist any longer, I began to cut out window panes allowing the cardstock to peek through.
If you run out of room for journaling, or your papers are too busy, add a few lines in the blank spaces of your photos!
Sometimes my pages take a while, the design happens right away, but it takes time to tweak things and get them so I am happy. I always leave my pages out for me to walk by a few times before I decide if they are finished; it helps with the tweaking process.
Thanks for stopping by today, have a great weekend!
